Previous Kansas City Channel 41 news anchor Amy Hawley-Rose commissioned designer Darin White with HAVA studios to design as well as fabricate a kitchen table that would work with she and her husband Dave’s beautiful newly renovated 1930’s Fairway, Kansas home. Using reclaimed walnut wood that had been stored for twenty-five to thirty-five years produced a dark rich chocolate finish on the 75″ long by 43″ wide table. The geometric flat black steel base provides a minimal, but elevated design element.
Hawley-Rose says, “Darin delivered exactly what I requested. We ran through several options and, with his help, came up with the perfect, final design. Once delivered, the walnut table is everything I hoped for. It’s high quality and has the edge I wanted. Thanks!!”
