We worked with the client to design, fabricate, deliver and install a 14′ x 4′ concrete and steel table with a replication of the river flowing through the property. We used Ecopoxy UV Poxy with two tones of turquoise colored metallic powder to create the water feel. There are two 4′ concrete and steel benches as well. The goal was to provide a space for a new residence to be able to hoist family, friends, clients and more in a space filled with art and food to help facilitate life. We worked directly with the Miller family bouncing ideas back and forth to come up with the final design and table. Mayim Hayim is an expression in Hebrew which means ‘live water’. The residence owners are Israeli-American and write a food blog with recipes and instructions and provide in home workshops and classes teaching others how to cook Armenia/Israeli inspired food. All are welcomed to the table.
