HAVA studios was asked to create an enlargement of a sculpture from a 21″ high sculpture into the pictured, life-size replica of the 7′ 2″ Gunsmoke TV Show actor, James Arness who played the character Sheriff Matt Dillon. Our job was to get the work ready in clay to be finished by the artist and then cast in bronze for a public art piece in Dodge City, Kansas. The work was scanned, milled out of foam, coated in clay and delivered to the foundry. We have worked on a number of enlargement projects including working with 3-D files for 3-D printing, CNC milling in a number of materials including stone, wood, metal and foam. We can work sculpting by hand, 3D rendering, or a combination of methods. These projects can be made for indoor or outdoor applications. Fine art, public art, thematic elements, hospitality applications, advertising and more. Let us know if there is a project you have that you would like to see in epic proportions, produced as a 3D enlargement.
